Dr. Aishwarya (Sunny) Sharma was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India and came to the United States at age 7. She attended Lake Erie College and received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in 2014. She then went on to attend Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and graduated with her DO degree in 2020.

After medical school, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at MetroHealth/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She then moved to Redding, CA to serve our patients.

Dr. Sharma enjoys spending time with her family, including her two sons. She loves reading and literary activities along with exploring nature. Dr. Sharma has worked for the Redding Rancheria since 2023 and became the Medical Director for MAT Recovery at Churn Creek in 2024. She enjoys working for the Redding Rancheria for several reasons. She is grateful to be able to provide exemplary care at an institute that prioritizes patient needs above all else; she prefers the collegial environment; and she appreciates following the guiding values both professionally and personally.
